REVO connects the world’s computers into one verified, community-governed network. Every contributor earns. Clean energy is incentivized further.

Being Developed in a Faculty-Supervised Directed Study at Florida State University · Fall 2026 · Patent Pending

The Problem

Computing Power Is Scarce. The World Is Full of It.

AI and research need enormous computing power. The bottleneck isn’t chips anymore. It’s electricity.

415TWh

Power Is the Bottleneck.

Electricity used by data centers in 2024, about 1.5% of the world’s total. Projected to more than double by 2030.

2,000+GW

U.S. projects waiting in line for a grid connection. The typical wait is more than five years, and most never get built.

Capacity Already Exists.

Huge amounts of computing power already sit plugged in and underused: in labs, universities, offices and homes.

Trust Is the Hard Part.

How do you know a stranger’s computer did the work right, on clean power? That’s what the study is about.

What if that existing capacity could be connected, trusted and pointed at the work that matters most?

Read the provisional patent (PDF, 29 pages)

The provisional patent specification reflects the study’s most recent findings as of October 10, 2026.

  1. 1

    Which blockchain should REVO use?

  2. 2

How do you prove a computer did the work, without redoing it?

  3. 3

Who else is doing this, and where can REVO be different?

  4. 4

How would a hospital or a lab actually use REVO?

  5. 5

How do you verify clean energy, and stop people faking it?

  6. 6

How do you make honesty the profitable choice, and stay on the right side of the law?

And many more still open, for example:

  • Hardware, software or hybrid verification?
  • Is the clean-energy score measuring the right things?
  • How is every way to cheat detected and punished?
  • What does each incentive cost, and can the budget afford it?
  • Portal, API or SDK: how does a lab plug in?
  • Which legal questions go to counsel first?

Every one of them is worked through in the study.

Many Open Questions. One Semester to Answer Them.

The Study

Building REVO, One Semester, One Deliverable.

A 15-week directed study I designed (LIS 4905, Florida State University, August 24 – December 4, 2026). It’s faculty-supervised, with monthly design reviews that each open with an oral exam: I explain the material unaided.

The Vision

The World REVO Is Building Toward

Blake Christopher Curtis with his arms out in Trafalgar Square, London

A cancer research lab runs its imaging model on thousands of scans overnight, without a cloud bill.

A climate group runs fresh forecasts every day.

A small nonprofit preserving an endangered language works at a scale once reserved for big tech.

All of it on machines that already exist, with proof that every result was done right, and every contributor rewarded more for running on clean power.

Computing power as a shared, verified, clean public resource.

About the Founder

Blake Christopher Curtis

Founder of Project REVO · Undergraduate, Florida State University

  • Born and raised in Sanford, Florida, with a driven and supportive family to help guide my life to where it is today.
  • I was always known as the most eager and driven person alive when it came to my passions, and my ambition has always been second to none. Whether it has been work such as my academics, jobs, leadership roles, passion projects, or even my hobbies like poker or traveling, I am relentless when it comes to what I want in this life.
  • Thus, the journey to developing what REVO is today started about 4–5 years ago, when I merely stumbled across something as simple as a cryptocurrency. This is because I knew myself well enough to know that once I found an opportunity, there was no stopping me.
  • Started a cryptocurrency mining operation at 16, which led to an obsession with learning blockchain technology. Had to diverge and find a new operation when “The Merge” occurred in 2022.
  • The goal was to take the concept of gathered processing power and use it for the greater good. From 2022 to 2024 was the drawing-board phase.
  • Started Project: REVO in September 2024
  • Founded, Patented, & Trademarked REVO in August 2025
  • Spring semester 2026, I had meetings with faculty of Florida State University along with members of their network (software engineers, business heads of tech firms) to discuss REVO’s future, with responses of positive interest. This led to the needed development of the directed study.
  • August 2026, at the beginning of the Fall semester, the study began.
